A Catered Workout

Have you ever wondered why some exercises work best for you, and some exercises don’t?

Well, according to Lauren Conrad’s resident trainer, Dr. Hunter Vincent, it all comes down to whether you’re tall, atheletic, or short and/or round, you have to do exercises that are appropriate for your body type.

The good doctor breaks it down into 3 body types which are endomorph, mesomorph, and ectomorph, endompoph are tall and lean people who benefit from weight lifting and pylometrics like running or doing marathons which is aerobic exercise.

Mesomorph body types are athletic and muscular, so they would benefit from exercises like pilates and yoga that focus on range of motion and body awareness.

Now, let’s meet the endomorphs who’s bodies are classified as shorter and rounder with less muscle definition, their benefit would be to focus on spinning, jogging, hiking, and swimming.

But no matter the body type, you are welcomed to try all activities because a good body type is one that’s happy and healthy, and doesn’t push their body to the limit.

The Sleep Solution

Team Lauren Conrad strikes again today with number 4 Jumpstart January focusing on improving your sleep, and your activity during the day.

The goal is to get 8 hours of sleep per night, and be in bed by 11 p.m., but you have to do your activities early and get things ready the night before so that you’re at ease, and ready for bed when it’s time, and have more time to sleep so you don’t have to get up early just to get ready for work, or make coffee.
