Retool For Good

Maria’s Bag by Alida Boer announced Friday it’s stop producing handbags out of its Ix Chebel factory in Guatemala City, Guatemala, and making face masks instead for all of its homeland and buyers around the world who need a face mask to stop the spread of COVID19.

Maria’s artisans and collaborators have handmade around 4,000 masks in just 2 weeks with plans to produce even more, partnering with fabric suppliers and healthcare providers to get their high-quality, reusable, and easily sanitized masks to the vulnerable population of Guatemala.

You can support the team of Maria’s Bag by donating materials, any amount of money and by purchasing your own #YoTeCuido mask, all proceeds will go towards making more masks to donate.
