Curve New York in an email today announced that it was moving ahead with their fall editions of trade shows in New York and Los Angeles even with worries of COVID19, Curve said it was feedback that encouraged the expo to go on with their shows with plans to practice social distancing, and running concurrently with their fabric sourcing show, Interfiliere.

Along with the frequent webinars Curve’s been having, a new digital platform will be launched for those who can’t attend the trade show in the fall, which has yet to set a date.

Here’s what the Curve Expo email had about their plans under COVID19……

Dear Curve Community,

We hope that you, your families, and your teams are all healthy and safe!

Thank you so much for answering all of our emails and calls, participating in our webinar series, sharing your experiences, and taking an active part in helping us gather data to design the most fitting and timely upcoming Curve events.

As previously communicated, the safety of the attendees, exhibitors, and staff that make Curve possible remains our top priority. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that a majority of the feedback we’ve received has encouraged us to continue with the next editions of Curve New York and Curve Los Angeles in 2020.

We will of course be keeping in compliance with locally-mandated safety regulations and implementing our own additional precautions as laid out by Eurovet guidelines.

We thank you for your patience while we are exploring alternate dates/location for a mid-September show in New York, and a Los Angeles event in the fall.

The next Curve New York show will be running concurrently with our fabric sourcing show, Interfiliere.

Our show floor will become a one-stop destination for the complete North American industry, linking suppliers, designers, brands, and retailers all at once.

From fiber to retail, the show will synergize relationships in the lingerie, lounge, swim, and activewear industries; matching suppliers with brands and matching those brands with retailers all under one roof.

Beyond the physical show floor, Curve has been hard at work developing a stronger digital presence in a world that has become very isolated very quickly.

The Curve weekly webinar series have been a successful way to bridge the gap and keep us connected when we aren’t able to meet physically.

Building on this momentum, we will be launching a new digital platform that will allow those who cannot be with us in person to continue to play an active role in Curve.

Exhibitors and attendees will also benefit from new services and perks during the physical show.

With COVID-19 disrupting so much of the world’s business, we look forward to hosting our next events to provide an exclusive opportunity to re-establish existing connections, develop new ones at our networking events, and educate ourselves through panels and discussions on how our industry has changed and how it will continue to change in the coming months and years.

Let us remain united and stay strong together.

Looking forward to our next conversation,

The Curve team
