Katy Perry’s (no moniker needed b/c duh, it’s Katy Perry) jewels lent by Dorazio PR at 2023 VinFuture Prize Award Ceremony

DORAZIO PR

By Victoria Weber

Katy Perry dazzled in an ethereal lilac Cong Tri chiffon gown for her red carpet appearance before her performance at the 2023 VinFuture Prize Award Ceremony. Looking like a goddess, she shined in diamond earrings by Anabela Chan, high-end jewelry handcrafted in England. The earrings were supplied by the celebrity PR firm, D’Orazio & Associates, who have styled red carpet looks for Taylor Swift, JLo, and Oprah to name a few. The awards were held on December 20th at the Ho Guom Opera House in Hanoi, Vietnam. Unless you’re already a science nerd, into cutting edge technology, or the next Elon Musk we either have or haven’t heard of, you probably have no idea what I’m talking about. No sweat. Pay attention to the fashion drip because we all know that’s what you’re here for.

Katy was styled by Tatiana Waterford, who has styled models like Sukie Waterhouse, and assisted by rawul, who has also assisted artists like Karol G. About the look Katy donned: Anabela Chan is a London based award-winning designer, who synthesizes her prestigious background from a prestigious background in architecture, fashion and art to curate rare, internationally desired pieces. Her creations are regularly rocked by A-Listers such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and members of the Royal Families.

Backed by a single guitarist and a few backup singers, Katy crushed the performance with her soulful longings of throwbacks “Roar”, “Firework”, and “Unconditionally”. Her performance ended with an animated firework show on her backdrop. If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard of Katy Perry, rethink your commitment to being culturally relevant and musically sophisticated. Aside from Taylor Swift, she too has changed the early 2000s pop game, for which she doesn’t get enough credit. Open up Spotify or Youtube right now and look up “Hot N Cold,” “Dark Horse”, or “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)”. If I had to list every Katy Perry banger for you we’d be here for another 10 minutes and we all know you’re dying to scroll onto the next, whether that’s on this blog, IG, or Bumble.

It’s all good – there’s no shame here about the collective limited attention spans. I’m not even immune to it!

Anyway, before my cultural dissertation turns into the next viral Ted Talk (check back here in about a week for the link to that – lol), you can catch Katy on all major streaming platforms.
