You can always donate to a consignment shop for more valuable things. However, not all consignment shops are created equal. Dora-Maar.com, founded in 2019 by Lauren Wilson, is one of them.
Dora Maar offers more than just a “boatload of random clothes.” It has a context and a point of view. They have 162 Muses. I am the latest and one of the oldest. Most of Lauren’s Muses are in their 30s and 40s, but age is irrelevant to Lauren, a very accomplished 34-year-old. As she puts it, “Great Style is Great Style!”
Marilyn has 28 items for sale, including vintage and new Chanel, Pucci, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, Proenza Schouler, Yves Saint Laurent, Dries Van Noten, Roger Vivier, and Comme des Garcons. The selection is heavy on shoes because that is my obsession; the right shoe can change everything!
