Kelly Hellman, longtime President of the Informa Fashion Group, announced her resignation today from the role now under MMGNET Group, after serving nearly 20 years with the company. Kelly had served as president for Coterie, Project, and Magic fashion trade shows for the past 4 years. Kelly began her Informa career back in 2006 as a Customer Service Representative for the Magic woman’s trade show. Kelly had spent a great deal of time reflecting on this difficult decision to leave what’s now the MMGNET Group so Kelly can begin the next chapter in her life.

Kelly is very excited to dive into what her next role will be, something that answers the call of what her career and life needs are which will align perfectly. But for the moment, the only thing Kelly wants to do is spent some much needed time with her family, travel, try out new outfits, and be inspired by life. Finally for a change, Kelly is taking a personal stand to not be identified by her profession, Kelly wants to be known for more than fashion. Kelly’s new purpose in life will have more of an impact on the world than what could ever be imagined.

For much of the DANIEL PLUS LAUREN blogosphere, Kelly Helfman has been a North Star in their quest to discover the world of fashion. Each season, DPL is not only inspired by the new and established designers at Coterie and Magic. DPL never fails to be left asking for more of what Kelly Helfman has to offer with what was her work at Informa, which is now under MMGNET Group. Kelly has been involved in every facet of the world of Coterie and Magic, also a more active role on social media, as well as panels at Informa now MMGNET Group trade shows.

DANIEL PLUS LAUREN is very excited to see what Kelly Helfman embarks on in her next journey, DPL knows it’ll be a good one.
