HAPPY COUTURE ENDINGS
Evan Hirsch finally unveiled the moment we’ve all been waiting for, Even’s Spring/ Summer 2026 edition of his beautiful couture collection. Evan’s theme for this season is titled “Found Opulence: Thrifted Beginnings, Couture Endings”. Evan is about transformation, how overlooked garments, with a bit of vision, craft, and care, can become someone’s dream dress. Much like the story of “Cinderella”, Evan references this season are layered with vintage silhouettes, historical dressmaking, and embroideries found in the natural world. “Found Opulence” celebrates the beauty of giving garments new life while honoring both the planet and the stories stitched into every thread.
Catching the eye of DANIEL PLUS LAUREN to kick things off are look 1 with a cream and gold lace surplice pantsuit. This beautiful dedication to flow puts abundant detailed hardware on a white canvas to signal it as a starting point. Jumping over to look 4 takes a deep dive into the deep depths of blue, this is a blue sparkle ensemble with sheer top and full skirt. Here we’re celebrating drapery with a little bit of reveal that gets the senses talking. Jumping ahead to look 23 has us celebrating green in the utmost high standard possible. It’s the sequined bustier gown with layered skirt. You will find this is the perfect body conscious gown that not only shows your features off, but up levels your status.
You certainly feel the vintage fabric with this burnt orange canvas in look 12 as it’s identified as burnt orange one shoulder gown with floral appliqué detail. The aura of ole orange canvas is certainly present in the evidently home body floral pattern. Then, we jump back down to look 7 as we witness the aqua tulle gown, in its calming day at sea feeling with no stress encountered. Now, we take it up, but back down to retro doilie at look 29 with the white lace dress. If there’s anything from less than half a mile away that is truly retro at heart. It’s lace and doilies to create a beautiful wedding dress as it honors traditions.
Also complementing this celebration of storied fabrics Evan Hirsch used for SS26 are his new found partnership with ShopGoodwill.com. Evan received a box of garments sourced by Goodwill’s marketplace both in-person and online. Evan’s mission was to reimagine each piece as a one-of-a-kind couture creation. In turn, Evan’s works will now return to the world through auction, supporting vital programs and community efforts of Goodwill.
