Olivia Rodrigo announced on Friday via an American Express reel on Instagram that she’s back home in LA working on a new album. While Olivia talked about her unforgettable trip to the Philippines during the “GUTS WORLD TOUR”, Olivia delivered the joyous news and could not reveal anything more at this time. For months, LIVVIES have been speculating about OR3 coming as the GUTS OR2 era finally came to a close this past Summer 2025.
Whether Olivia’s OR3 album comes at the end of this year or somewhere in 2026 hopefully on the early part, this upcoming new era for Olivia Rodrigo has time and space to succeed substantially. So far, there’s no big or bold layout by other music big name artists to release anything new. The hope for the 2026 music ecosystem is for it to act like 2025 did, very few major artists releasing new albums at once. It’s also an opportunity for Olivia Rodrigo to expand her audience beyond the LIVVIE universe and tap into new fans of all kinds who want fresh new music from young artists.
