ITALIAN IN 3 INTEL LEVELS
High-end luxury home design involves a collective team effort to achieve the highest quality design possible for the enlightened customer. It takes more than American effort to reach high levels one would not dare to think of. ICFF day 2 today here in New York City brings DANIEL PLUS LAUREN to the “Room of Light: Lounge ICFF by INTERNI”. DPL came across Molteni&C, and Artemide to bring you a combo furniture display that’s stylist, vivid, and efficient.
The Interni Magazine Lounge is conceived through the element of light, which defines the boundaries of the space. Light becomes a construction material: through its modularity, it builds the framework of the room and shapes the overall experience.
At this stage, there is no need for physical walls or curtains-other elements can exist independently, almost floating, with a life of their own.
The drawers Boxes and Romby chair by Porro introduce a surreal, residential atmosphere within the context of the fair. This domestic feeling is further reinforced by the Marteen sofa and the Regen low table by Molteni & C, creating the impression of a living room suspended within the exhibition space. The light fixture Tetras was presented to the public as the installation designed by SOM for Artemide for the INTERNI Cre-Action exhibition (7-17.04.2025) at Università degli Studi di Milano, during FuoriSalone 2025 in Milano.
In this ICFF designated space, Molteni&C offer up off-white sofa that’s fit for multiple people both left and right on superior comfort and low rise aspects. There’s also end tables tbat are simple to add in with its stone like table top with black standings. Plus Molteni&C have the mirror cabinet that completes the Italian look which DPL’s relatives appreciated very much. X and plus lighting add youthful depth to the INTERNI look by Artemide which allows you to control, turn on, turn off lighting direct from their app.
The Italian mindset is to provide quality and efficient ways to adapt to evolving demands of life itself. The INTERNI, ICFF, and DESIGN NYC collective celebrates Italian culture combining it with the fast and internal feel of New York City. It’s not just a trendy thing that NYC and the world just adapted. This is honoring world class design of relevance and adaptability that’s always been there since before you and me were ever born. Mirrors were a constant fixture in the households that DPL were raised in, DPL is Spanish and Italian.
