Bracing For The Worst
Charlie Beckwith, head of American Fashion Podcast, hosted a very special town meeting today, catering to small and large fashion retailers on what they can do to overcome staggering losses caused by COVID19.
A panel of fashion, retail, and business experts have all concluded that it’s gonna be an extremely slow recovery for all of the clothing and accessories industry no matter how big one is on the scale, entrepreneurs must embrace new ideas to come back, not disappear, and be ready when things start to pick up.
There’s also the stark reality that those retailers who do have the capital, means, ingenuity, and nimble to come back when the COVID19 crisis is over will stand tall, and stand strong, embracing the new reality, and the new future of retail in every facet possible.
Then, there’s that unfortunate reality for those retailers who either jump ship, doing badly to begin with, or don’t have enough resources to fall back on will go the way of the dinosaur, disappear from the scene, and surely out of business if not the case now.
In the end, it all comes down to how much love consumers have for the brand, in good and bad times, just like the restaurant business.
