Still Cautious

The Royal Shakespeare Theatre over in London, England, is yet another theater in the U.K. that announced today they’ll be continuing to postpone or cancel performances for the rest of 2020 due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, offering refunds and updates on later dates when COVID19 have been lifted.

Since 2020 is completely off the radar, 2021 is on target to be the year where the Royal Shakespeare Theatre goes off without a hitch for the curtain to go up, and the stage to light up again, you’ve got winter and autumn of next year where you are hoping to see famed performances like “The War Of The Roses” and “The Magician’s Elephant” to resume, while 2020 summer schools and events are cancelled.

Broadway here in the U.S. continues to be shuttered till Labor Day, possibly till 2021 as Broadway insiders are suspecting, but the New York Times has stepped in “Offstage: Opening Night” to take place on June 11, celebrating the best Broadway performances of the year.
