You Don’t Ask, You Don’t Get
Just before New York Fashion Week gets underway in 2 days here in New York City, DANIEL PLUS LAUREN is live today at Fashinnovation’s 10th Worldwide Talks where CNBC’s Jade Scipioni sat down with Fashion Designer, Richie Rich, and Sarah Davis, Founder of Fashionphile, who stress the importance of getting yourself out there, creating a profitable business plan for you being a creator, and getting out of the bedroom if you want to succeed.

Both Richie Rich and Sarah Davis didn’t launch and build their brands just by designing clothes and acquiring brands like Coach and Goochie staying in the house, Richie Rich was out there in the streets of Manhattan, walking around gathering fabrics, stopping in thrift stores, venturing down Wall Street talking to business people, venture capitalists, and investors about what he does, Richie Rich didn’t roam around the greatest city in the world keeping his mouth shut, he promoted his brand aggressively in the 90’s, going onto be a fashion icon as well as a reality TV icon and inspiration to a new generation, apparently GEN Z.

For all the creature comforts and couch coziness that GEN Z has inspired through fashion, stemming from COVID-19, bringing on a sweats resurgence like no other, plus GEN Z living on getting rich and famous from their bedroom while insulting the hell out of millennial style on TikTok, DANIEL PLUS LAUREN was super-inspired to ask both Richie Rich and Sarah Davis post discussion about this alarming GEN Z notion of not hustling plus doing what their jobs say instead of being girlbosses……..
Richie and Sarah’s message is very clear……… You gotta get out there and talk to people about your business, and even the brand you’ve created in your bedroom, GEN Z’s problem is that they don’t know how to talk to people, go out in the real world and interact with someone face to face, the idea of going out to work on a daily basis is horrifying enough for GEN Z, because if GEN Z, or anybody from any generation or any age for that matter chooses not to talk to people about their brand, or on a more solid note, their business, then their business is not going to succeed, because they don’t have people live in person to give them feedback, and coach them about what works, and what doesn’t.

The bottom line by Richie Rich and Sarah Davis is to create a profitable business that you can reap the benefits from without needing too much help from shareholders, which enable you to keep all the billions of dollars of profits at the end of the day, you have to take the first step and hustle, hustle your profitable business model out there to those who like your creations, and your business saavy, because if you don’t ask those who you think are interested, you will lose out, and your profit-less business of creating wonderful fashion is just not a business.
