NEW FRONTIERS TO EXPLORE
It’s been quite awhile since we had something to be happy about. January 2025 has not made it any easier with tragedy in the news, the acceptance of a new President, LA wildfires, and now an aviation tragedy last night in our nation’s capitol. But each day brings even more opportunity to explore and start finding answers, and solutions to problems that challenge our everyday lives. Even outside current events, today is still made for MMGNET and Fashion Snoops to reveal men’s trends of fall and winter of 2025/2026. And it’s more than a highly demanded opportunity to rebuild our world to a stronger and happier way of life with aesthetics such as Aether, Indulge, Essentialism, and Mythos.

AETHER
Driven by cosmic curiosity and search of meaning in chaos, Aether responds to the climate crisis through elemental adaptation via weather patterns which caused the devastating LA Wildfires. One’s wellness is taken into consideration when dealing with unpredictable weather, as well as our new cosmic curiosity to find out the meaning of life. Science Fiction has definitely played a big role in GEN Z through pop culture, with successes like “Inside Out” dominating the box office last summer. The mood is uncharted terrain, unworldly nature, futuristic silhouette, softer molded shapes also with spiky surfaces that stay relevant. Men are loving colors of pink, blue stars, pink noise, cool mint, glazed cherry, and such. Men’s contemporary are puffer duster, sweatsuit sweater, quilted tailoring, and work pants. Young men’s include cosmic influence like swirl set, future scape sweater, brushed denim, and cosmonaut shirt. Accessories include hybrid trainer footwear, transparent wraparound, Tahitian Pearls, and Reflective Messengers handbags. Prints/ patterns include dusty dyes, charged chroma, heat reactive, and cellular.

INDULGE
Celebrating the holidays through scenery and luxury, there’s no guilt in taking up the question of luxury. Not quiet, but bold luxury creating an impact, childlike play provides a source of comfort, Taylor Swift is a prime example of experiencing that utter joy. 80’s and 90’s toys are entering back into pop culture by millennials who want their children to love what they played with. AI also plays a key role in indulge, AI’s also been charged with pigeon holing our lives, taking away human joy and input without originality. Indulging mood is scenery delight with lux fabrics, surreal silhouettes, and 70’s swagger. Colors include tangy zest, lime fest, chili oil, Jupiter purple, pop pink, and mulberry wine. Men’s contemporary is brocade coat, wallpaper sweater, everyday formal, and hi-shine tuxedo jacket. Young men’s include flashy such as denim coat, moire pant, party jacket, and teddy sweater. Accessories include plush and soft shapes with supple suede lace up, outside crescent handbag, textural pouch, and plush trapper hat. Prints/ patterns to indulge in are toile tapestry, pajama pinstripes, moire, and retro wallpaper.

ESSENTIALISM
Reacting against average, this is thoughtful curation, unique sustainable materials, and guilt-free luxury. Little luxury is key to everyday living, investing in small things like food, personal care, exercise, and necessities that are over-indulgent but do a wealth of good for your well being. AI tools and platforms enables you to test new things, expression, and design, also consumers having engagement in the creative process. The essential mood is classic silhouettes that redefine corporate uniforms, quality materials making garments built to last, and extra special detail to everyday pieces. Colors are brown butter, crisp navy, scuffed lemon, urgent orange, and chili oil. Men’s contemporary is ultra soft underpinnings, simple sweats, layered knits, and modern toggle. Young men’s include belted house coat, asymmetrical cardigan, easy jean, and high pile coach’s jacket. Accessories are round soled oxford, playful keycup, stacked square watch, and tactile beanie. Prints/ patterns are dreamy shadow dyes, whispered paths, abstract puzzle, and tonal herringbone.

MYTHOS
Drawing from folklore and indigenous wisdom, indulge takes you into the community with tactile materials and learning about the origins of our apparel. There’s loneliness in the world, Mythos is meant to bridge the divide with knowledge and understanding of where we come from. Finding the beauty and essentialness of the indigenous culture is what’s being strived to help you be more confident about taking up their fashion. The mood of Mythos is tapestry of sewing with heirloom quality by weaving, patchwork, embroidery, etc. Colors are opulent green and mineral blue, and such. Men’s contemporary veers younger with mosaic pant, prairie sweater, flannel set, and homestead blazer. Young is bolder with blanket trucker jacket, furry fair isle, digital cargo, and casual blazer. Accessories are cut out slide, crochet crossbody, reversible fringe scarf, and salvaged horn frames. Prints/ patterns are bucolic scenes, reimagined fair isle, dopamine release, and burnt camo.

CONCLUSION
Quiet luxury is official dead, no more overemphasis on neutrals. It’s time to enjoy luxury again given the bleak world we are living in currently, thanks to bad news in 2025 so far, and the past few years of uncertainty. Colors are being brought back out in a very big way, we also see bolder designs with softer takes on it. Yes, we want to have a little stretch comfort, but we want more depth to our stitching and details. Sustainability is still on the table with fashion, but not just with environmental sourcing, but with making quality materials that last longer than just a season or 2, and it’s not boring. The season of depth, origins, and originality are now in full swing, combine that with revelations in the news with awareness of the outcome will inspire us to be more bold, take action, and inspire change.
