On February 6, 2025 Wangda had a presentation of his Autumn/Winter 2025 men’s and women’s clothing collection at NeueHouse in NYC. This designer redefines contemporary tailoring—where minimalism meets avant-garde expression. High quality fabrics in wool and satin were used with strict tailoring and many styles were made in the USA. These are classic silhouettes that you will be able to have in your closet and wear for many years. Jewlery on all the models by Erickson Beamon. The show was produced by Seventh House Public Relations.

Wangda’s collection featured styles for everyday wearing. For men, I saw lots of 1970s and 1980s influences in the wide lapel jackets, 3 piece vested suits in a tan/brown check, pleated pants, and high waisted/flat front trousers with flared legs. Other styles were short zip front wool jackets. Evening saw black satin bomber jackets with black sparkle embellishment and a matching baseball cap. Black waiter jackets with hoods that had clear rhinestone trim on the front of the jacket. He made a gray wool shawl lapel knee length coat with silver sequin trim at the edges that would be perfect to wear to a formal event in the evening. Colors used were black, brown, neutrals and gray throughout the collection.

Women’s styles for daytime were classic with such styles as a tan double breasted trench coat that was mid-calf length and featured buttoned shoulder and wrist tabs, and tied at the waist with leather sash belts. A sleeveless deep cowlneck black top was paired with dark denim high waist baggy trousers. Evening styles featured a long a black one-sleeve asymmetrical neck dress in black lurex fabric and a black short jacket with black crystals adorning the front that was shown with black high waisted, pleated baggy, flared legged trousers that would be great to wear to a casual party. Colors used were mainly tan and black.
