A NEW ABODE TO VIBE

Funari New York celebrated the opening of their new location at The Canvas at 456 Broadway in lower Manhattan here in New York City on Thursday, July 24. Coming off the runway show in Midtown Manhattan back on June 12 for the Pickleball & Pilates Collection, Funari NY celebrated their new digs by showing off their beautiful vegan couture collection that opens up doors to new looks and textures. DANIEL PLUS LAUREN wanted to know more about this new location for Funari New York. So DPL interviewed Janelle Funari, creator of Funari NY to learn more about this bold new store.

1.  Describe what this new store will bring to the table.

The Canvas NYC will be a home to showcase our products. This is a place where all can come try on! It’s great to have brick and mortar in NYC to see the style fit and our unique materials in person!!! 

2.  What’s the feel of Funari New York in SoHo?

The feel is urban street brand born on streets New York City. The location is right for the “feel” of our brand as we are all inclusive unisex line and SoHo is a good place to showcase our talent to the world!

3.  What can customers buy now at this new store?

Our unique street style and sportswear line including; unisex cargo pants and cooling unisex joggers paired with zip high low jacket, along with hoody waterproof shiny biker jacket, shiny 3/4 length raincoat, a pencil skirt with adjustable zippers, zip front all lace bodysuit and lovely blouson top to pair back to all bottoms!

4.  How excited are you about this whole new experience? 

I think a good partnership is key to the success of the brand and I love that the score is it only accepting sustainable brands which we have been green company now for 20 years so it’s exciting to feel like we found a place that understands us and can help us get our safe eco-sustainable products out of the world!
