DELICIOUS THOUGHTS
As NY NOW comes to a close for this Summer edit here at the Javits Center, the 3rd day today was as inviting as ever. The aroma of home decor, dolls, everyday goods, and Christmas 2025 just makes you sit down for dinner. DANIEL PLUS LAUREN got one more taste of Christmas with a witty helping of “The Grinch”, wrapping paper, gift bags, and grandma’s meatballs. DPL seeks the savory site of Sunday dinner with the clever creation of the greeting card company, Spaghetti & Meatballs.

Established in 2018, and after working a corporate job at Bloomingdale’s, Maria Castiglione started Spaghetti & Meatballs since colleagues asked her to make cards. This home-cooked family business dishes out Christmas cards that play a humorous tone on the holidays, artfully display the Three Wise Men and drawing inspiration from pop culture. S&M also has its fair share of New York City moments that craft lower Manhattan in beautiful cartoon form from Metro Cards to street food blue coffee cups. Plus the Statue Of Liberty and the Empire State Building captured in a snow globe with Thanksgiving balloons via the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Also, be sure to obtain a precious family heirloom by Spaghetti & Meatballs, Grandma’s Homemade Meatball Recipe.
One pound ground beef, 2 to 3 garlic cloves, 1 egg, dash of salt and pepper, 1 cup breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, 3/4 Romano cheese, and cook at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.

So much is served up with Spaghetti & Meatballs greeting cards, you have an array of welcoming gestures made with love. And it’s backed by a great big Italian family up in Buffalo, New York, originally started in Astoria in a small kitchen.
You can find Spaghetti & Meatballs on Instagram @_spaghettimeatballs_.
