AN OLE’ ENGLISH TEA SESSION
Shani Grosz, a true New York City fashion designer who elevates fashion to three dimensional levels, took to Macy’s in Herald Square last Saturday here in NYC. Shani took on Macy’s iconic space to create “A Magical English High Tea Activation” that brought to life the Regency-era of old England centuries ago. Along with Shani’s prolific, illuminating, and vivid talent for painting based on her fashion, Shani brought her Ole’ English gowns to the showroom floor for an immersive experience. Shani reimagined an English High Tea parlor that took the typical display to multidimensional recreations here in modern day Manhattan at Macy’s Herald Square.

Shani Grosz sought out inspiration from old English balls where Shani utilized floral details, intricate beading, and appliqué work. Along with the Regency-era of old English tea, women in modern day will also be very tickled by the feel of the white-hot Netflix hit, “Bridgerton”. A tremendously interesting note is “Bridgerton” aligns with Shani Grosz’s High Tea Activation because the Netflix series added modern-day elements to its storyline.

Shani Grosz’s favorite colors in her High Tea collection are pink, white, black, and dark blue. Shani’s bold color choices go hand in hand with not only florals, but sequin, sheer, and gem detail stitched onto each gown. Floral headpieces also complement “A Magical High Tea Activation” as part of the ole English experience where no tech device existed in its day.

Shani Grosz also brought her art talent to Macy’s Herald Square with an uplifting display of her paintings that are better than 3D itself due to Shani’s vision and jeweled use on canvas. Nearly a year ago, DANIEL PLUS LAUREN paid a visit to Shani Grosz’s showroom in midtown Manhattan where DPL witnessed how next generation Shani’s artwork was complementing Shani’s fashion. Overall, Shani Grosz X Macy’s was a delivery of Shani’s showroom for an immersive experience involving gowns, models, art, attendees, and businesses to enhance the experience.

Helping to make the Shani Grosz X Macy’s experience possible were participating vendors such as Brewed Moments with coffees and teas, Maple Magic with sweet treats, and EL Kallejon with Mexican sweet magic. Also on tap were Paper Flowers NYC to assist in floral displays, Mirrored Photo Booth combining digital photos with florals, and Glitz Entertainment providing wigs, accessories, and costumes. And finally, Love At First Bloom delivering fresh flowers on demand to make Shani’s immersive experience as vivid as possible.

In this one of a kind Manhattan department store experience, Shani Grosz X Macy’s “A High Tea Activation” delivered accessibility to all women. No matter what size, age, race, or income you are, every woman has a God given right to look and feel great about herself. Once a woman knows that achieving one little thing to meet bigger things is attainable, a woman can truly go far beyond her reach. We all have the power to invest in ourselves just by prioritizing one aspect. You!!!
