Max Mara brought its AW25 “Must-Have” edit to Americana Manhasset with a compact midday format at Toku Modern Asian: runway first, then models stepped off the stage for a U-shaped loop around the room—close sightlines, quick turns, clothes shown at real-life distance.

AW25 in brief: Max Mara lines up its house codes and pushes them forward. Camel outerwear. City-black tailoring. Ribbed knits and tweed. Capes and frock-coat shapes. Belts to set the waist. Skirts with real volume. On the floor it read clean. A run of black looks: a belted shirt, a short-sleeve turtleneck with long gloves, a neat sleeveless column. Then the counterpoints: a hooded rib-knit cape, a rib-knit peplum dress with a wide belt, and calm camel layers built from wrap coats over knit columns.

A boutique Sip & Shop at the Max Mara store was listed for later in the day; this coverage is from the runway lunch. The takeaway is simple: show it on the stage, then bring it within a few feet so proportion, length, and line read fast—AW25, in reach.
