RECIPROCAL REBIRTH
Today on this day February 24, 2026, COTERIE welcomed itself into the fold again over in midtown Manhattan at the Javits Center. New York City has seen its share of restarts over this Winter which also been unforgivably snowy and brutally cold. Pivoting and adjustment against our Winter comfort over the last few years has been our natural order. It’s definitely harder to run if un-shoveled snow is on the ground. But luckily, DANIEL PLUS LAUREN escaped elements to arrive at COTERIE with a curiosity for Andre Assous.
Andre Assous prides itself on using cork cushioning for its wedge high heel sandal options whether their traditional thick heels or flexible regular sandals. There’s also sandal flexibility extended in gel whether it’s as a sole, a sandal thong, or a flat sandal open toe that’s comfortable roaming around all day and night. Sandal open toe extends out to regular cork fiber stretching which stays comfortable all day as a woman’s schedule is unpredictable. Detail also plays a huge role in Andre Assous sandal as gel gets a little bit of sparkle in its comfortable footwear.
Fall/ Winter 2026 offers up a wooden wedge heel option that goes extremely went with a pant as you’re running around. The general consensus for Andre Assous consumer is the thick heel works out better for their daily lives instead of a skinny heel. You can either do this wooden wedge heel on a mule or a clog that’s high fashion because it doesn’t take a cheap price point approach. Generally, Andre Assous prices from $69 to $175, and it was created in the 1970’s.
What also stands out with Andre Assous is its wine colored shoes that’s also on mini-high heel booties, ballet flats that are flexible and comfortable, and such. Handbags also play a huge role not only with the current SS26 season, but also with the FW 26/27 season. Suede along with its solid colors and leather options are ever so present for next year that promises to take on the FW26/27 like a champ. Andre Assous leads a future that’s especially for those who appreciate style made up of natural tones as opposed to plastic offerings that irritate.
