Today’s the day where The Roku Channel finally releases to the world “The Reunion: Laguna Beach” in full episode mode. The sticking point in this unprecedented special was Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari finally clearing the air about their high school rivalry. The cast first off gathered at a soundstage in Los Angeles with host, Casey Wilson, to talk about their most memorable moments when filming “Laguna Beach”. The love triangle between Lauren, Kristin, and Stephen Colletti got underway even before the cameras started rolling back in 2004, Kristin wanted to stir the pot, and Lauren wanted to keep Stephen as a friend as long as possible.

Then came the moment where Lauren and Kristin finally had a conversation with just the 2 of them present. Yes, both Lauren and Kristin were jealous of each other, both were surprised to say the least to finally hear that. The two also agreed that their insecurities played a major role in their “Laguna Beach” experience which made possible the beloved show that MTV aired. Kristin admits she was just overcompensating by being loud and present to make up for that. But looking back now, Lauren and Kristin admire each other for what they’ve become, and Lauren takes it as a compliment that she was envious of Kristin.

For sure, time heals all wounds as we process our earlier decisions more and more with a little more understanding of them. This was definitely a cathartic moment for both Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari as the 2 of them officially make peace.
