TRANSPORTED BACK TO ‘04

For many who followed the ratings of MTV back in the day shortly after “Laguna Beach” came out, this new concept itself beat everything imaginable. And “The Reunion: Laguna Beach” did it again for The Roku Channel as they just announced today that this was number one on The Roku Channel this weekend. Let’s just say it came in all perfect alignment for the ones who made this type of Reality TV possible while changing the game too.

The promotion for this Roku Channel special started as early as late September when it was announced “The Reunion: Laguna Beach” was being produced for this year. In all subtle forms, Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari started to give word that their feud was over where the two got photographed together more often. Then trailers and more trailers came out leading to the special airing last Friday. The result was a spark that felt like it was the Fall of 2004 all over again where every teenager, twenty-something, and adults too watched “Laguna Beach”.
