TIMES ARE A CHANGIN’
ICFF announced today that they will no longer hold their home luxury decor trade show in May, but hold it in November instead beginning next year in 2027. The move comes as the trade show space during the month of May became to compressed, November is a much better time to focus, do business, and create industry moments. ICFF in their 37 years of delivering contemporary design are answering the call of their exhibitors and attendees. Plus, ICFF will run concurrently with BDNY, the luxury hospitality trade show on November 7-9, 2027.
These changes come as the landscape has shifted due to tighter budgets, increased demands on brands, and travel becoming more selective forcing meaningful change overall. Moving ICFF to November simultaneously with BDNY creates less congestion, fewer conflicts, and move time for real business to come to fruition. Plus, ICFF and BDNY are not merging as one, both will remain 2 independent trade shows – ICFF home luxury decor – BDNY luxury hospitality for hotel and restaurant. And away from the Spring calendar, ICFF also allows for expanded global visibility to take place.
ICFF in 2027 will be a landmark year before November 2027 arrives where ICFF 2027 starts as early as BDNY this November.
It kicks off with the ICFF Lounge at BDNY this November 8 and 9, 2026.
Plus, the annual press preview in February 2027.
Then comes ICFF Night Out with NYCxDESIGN Festival in May 2027.
And finally, ICFF taking place November 7-9, 2027, exactly one week after Halloween 2027.
In ICFF’s 37 years, DANIEL PLUS LAUREN has made ICFF part of its annual trade show roster starting in May 2022. Each year has been a tremendous experience blending breathtaking home luxury with valuable insight about the brand’s mission. BDNY joined DPL in November 2024 to explore the commercial sector of luxury decor via hospitality.
This weekend will be DPL’s 5th visit to ICFF as ICFF has its May edition.
Last year also marked the start of ICFF sharing time with DPL favorite, The Cabaret Burlesque, who inaugurated their 3 weekend run till the end of May. And for 2nd year in a row and one last time, ICFF and The Cabaret Burlesque open on the same weekend. This year’s TCB show titled “Emerald Enchanted” will be at Culture Lab LIC every Friday and Saturday from May 15-30 at 8 p.m. NY time.
DPL will definitely be there as ICFF settles into their new home in the month of November.
And just like DPL does with CURVE NY and NY NOW every February and August, DPL will visit both ICFF and BDNY in November 2027 at the Javits Center here in New York City.
