New York Knicks Ticker Tape Parade celebrates NBA Finals victory

New York City here today has apparently paused from its New York minute speed as hundreds of thousands of Knicks fans lined up since last night are getting to celebrate their NBA championship. The Canyon Of Heroes at City Hall in lower Manhattan are apart of a once in a lifetime experience that even a New Yorker as old as 46 years old has never seen in their existence.

We’re witnessing Jalen Brunson who put on the grind for 15 out of 16 games that led the Knicks to the ultimate NBA Larry O’ Brian trophy’s. As well as OG Anunoby who clinched those wins in the last seconds of Game 4. And don’t forget, Grand Theft Alvarado (Jose Alvarado) who stepped up for an injured Jalen Brunson and got the Knicks their wins.

For a grueling 10 weeks leading up to today, the New York Knicks and their now winning coach, Mike Brown, made a huge sacrifice to take this team all the way. All hands were on deck as each player stepped up when it mattered, it wasn’t reliant on one or two guys. The Knicks have effectively changed the rules on what it takes to win an NBA championship.
