Olivia Rodrigo is proudly adding another festival to her collection of iconic performance today. Olivia announced she is launching the Daisy Chain Fields on August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California. This all woman festival includes Chappell Roan, Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan, Garbage, The Breeders, plus Olivia Rodrigo herself and many other fine women musicians. Olivia is more than excited to be creating this kind of festival which she’s always dreamed of doing. Daisy Chain Fields will be a charity music event where 100 percent of the proceeds goes to advocating and advancing women and girls.
While launching Daisy Chain Fields, Olivia is celebrating her 3rd album having its highest sales ever pushing 485k units and landing at No. 1 on Billboard Album 200. Olivia also had 4 songs place in Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10 while “Stupid Song” went to No. 1 on Billboard global charts both with U.S. and without U.S.
It too is a sad day in music as it was announced today that legendary music executive, Clive J. Davis, has died. Clive not only shaped the music industry as we know it, Clive also discovered Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, and Alicia Keys. Clive Davis was 94 years old.
