Just as “You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love” was having its 1st seconds of being out now, Olivia Rodrigo gave us an MV from “Stupid Song”. Being Olivia’s 3rd MV for her 3rd album, Olivia employs the New York City Ballet to fit the delicate ballerinas dancing on the hard streets of Manhattan.

This ultimately tells the story of the New York love scene at its finest, smoking blunts, cool parties, and NYC it’s bluest (sad) it’s ever been. But outside the norms, Olivia’s high for love never comes down or gets easy to solve. Olivia’s love is so intense, not even a stupid love song can sum it up. Olivia also pays tribute with a piano moment shot in an authentic New York City bodega.

Even as our lives here in New York City move at forgotten thought a second ago speed, Olivia Rodrigo stays true to her current pace of staying in love with its iconic struggle. “Stupid Song” as well as OR3 clearly moves Olivia out of the realm of her first 2 album eras and into something meaningful with care and curiosity.
