We’re In This Love Together

Love, it’s complicated, there’s no simple layers to love, many triggers or one small thing can make someone fall in love with you, but love involves more work than simply someone being strikingly beautiful which leads to man wanting to know more about the woman he’s head over heels for, or vice versa, love on solid ground is 100 percent commitment, give and take, time, and just like dance, it takes a lot of sacrifice, so conflicts will come up, Kristin Cavallari and husband, Jay Cutler, are no strangers to having marriage issues as Kristin gave a fruitful preview on Tuesday with this Sunday’s upcoming episode of “Very Cavallari” on E!.

While in Cabo, Mexico, Kristin recalls when she and Jay discussed how she needed to make more time for Jay as Kristin gets busier and busier with Uncommon James, but then Kristin gave it a second thought and realized that she would definitely be putting more time and effort into Jay if Jay did one thing, be very supportive about her commitment to make Uncommon James a success, which is by the way.

Kristin points out that throughout Jay’s football career, Kristin was very supportive of Jay, so Kristin put her career and life on hold as Jay was in Chicago, Illinois playing for the Chicago Bears, and Kristin feels that Jay doesn’t put that same commitment into Kristin with her activities as she was with Jay.

Understandably, Jay sees very clearly where Kristin is coming from, and says that he can do a better job of supporting Kristin with what she does so Kristin doesn’t have to worry about the things Kristin does with Uncommon James being a problem for Jay.

Jay along with Kristin sees how their roles have reversed in the past year while Jay sees Kristin going from zero to 60 in that same amount of time, plus pointing out to Kristin that he sees Kristin being very busy and she should be.

Jay also reassures Kristin not only that he can try harder, but that he and Kristin will be okay.

Like yours truly (Daniel plus Lauren) was saying at the beginning of this article, love takes work in every step of the way, whether it’s making a commitment, or changing one little detail about you to get your love interest to learn more about you.

And even if the one you love doesn’t exactly love everything else about you, you are willing to do everything and anything to be with the one that you’re in love with.

So now you got your own tug of war taking place, making that little change of who you are to get someone to notice you while keeping who you truly are.

Love certainly probes deeply into all of our human experiences, leaving marks, wounds, and valuable lessons in the short term that last a lifetime.

But here’s the bigger question yours truly struggles with, and leaves you with today, are you willing to commit, make the sacrifice, give and take, and do anything for love?
