ICFF in 2024 steps into AI with CANOA home design technology

During the press preview on the first day of the ICFF/ WantedDesign home decor trade show today here in New York City, DANIEL PLUS LAUREN arrived early to learn more about CANOA. CANOA is a mood board for planning out the pieces to fill your happy home. CANOA is a digital space that helps you design what each room in your home will look like. CANOA covers all aspects of planning such as mood board, floor plans, arrangements, chosen designers you want your coach to come from, dimensions, and AI (artificial intelligence).

AI plays a big part with CANOA because it gives you ideas based on how you want to design your home furnishings. AI goes off of arrangements, alignments, scale & dimension, areas, frames, text, and even comments on CANOA. You also have the freedom to choose from designers who have their home decor on CANOA to arrange how your bedroom will look along with the living room. Not only did designers put together CANOA, these designers allow you to participate in the design process.

AI with CANOA also utilizes your design expertise by envisioning what your pieces will look like down to what side of the coffee table a chair is placed. It also goes the extra mile to position where your lamp will be placed, even forecast specifically on the coffee table. CANOA drag & drop lets you move your would be furniture about your home. You can also share your layout with CANOA designers for feedback. As well as set your desired background while you collaborate with CANOA.

Something old and something new is happening here. Designing your home decors is not easy in any way because of all the great detail involved in choosing and placing your furniture. Then there’s the ever-growing threat of AI, where the human element is said to be non-existent. But with CANOA, combining these 2 challenges we face can make your home plan a lot easier.

You’ll have constant feedback and ideas about where your coach, chair, coffee table, lamp, dining room table, and such will go. Plus, you can choose what’s happening behind your coach with room backgrounds that fit the furniture that you helped design.
