London’s Finest

Ports 1961 reported Monday that it will reveal it’s new womenswear collection for fall/ winter 2017 at London Fashion Week this month on Saturday, February 18 at 3 p.m. London time at Victoria House in Bloomsbury.

This is a change for Ports 1961, who usually debuts their collections in Milan Fashion Week, but this London runway show marks a homecoming for Creative Director, Natasa Cagalj and her design team, who all studied in London at Central Saint Martins under the late Louise Wilson.

Natasa says she will use this catwalk to pay homage to the city where she is based and originally trained, as it feels natural to come home and show in front of their many supportive friends.

Natasa adds also that London is not only their base, but also a constant source of inspiration and a great place for creative collaborations, and London asserts Ports 1961’s international focus while celebrating the modern, innovative, and tactile focus of the label since Natasa Cagalj took the reins in 2014.
