In April, Let’s Work
Lauren Conrad kicked off April today with her site’s annual Work It April theme, looking ahead to email mistakes not to make, career advice to Lauren’s younger self, and how to brand your small business, as well as fashion in business formal, business casual, and creative dress codes.
Not On My Resume
To kick off Work It April, Lauren Conrad explained 6 no-no’s a resume must not have on it anymore, like career objective because your skill set and cover letter explain that already, longwinded descriptions waste time, GPA and internships since they’re not relevant, skills everyone has, controversial activity like political campaigns, and anything that sends your resume to page 2, you only need the last 4 jobs or the past 10 years.
