Jewels Carry ‘No Broken Hearts’

Bebe Rexha wore Anabela Chan earrings and a Misahara ring to the City of Hope Gala on Thursday evening in Santa Monica, California.

City of Hope is an independent research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases, it is ranked as one of “America’s Best Hospitals” in cancer by U.S. News & World Report.

Founded in 1913, City of Hope is a pioneer in the fields of bone marrow transplantation, diabetes and numerous breakthrough cancer drugs based on technology developed at the institution.

Anabela Chan is a London and Paris based award-winning jewelry designer and artist, who arrived at jewelry from a prestigious background in architecture, fashion and art.

This year, Lady Gaga, Rita Ora and FKA Twigs have all graced red carpet events wearing her enchanting, statement pieces.

With awards from Vogue Talents and The British Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council, Harpers Bazaar UK named Anabela, “The Jewelry Designer you need to know now”.

Her unique jewels and objects d’art are presented at some of the most exclusive gallery boutiques in the world including Christie’s London, Lane Crawford Hong Kong, Luisa Via Roma Florence and Moda Operandi New York.

Jewelry is more than just a pretty piece or accessory; since the very beginning jewelry has always been an outward expression of many things… nostalgia, heritage, personality and ethos.

The founder and designer of Misahara, Lepa Galeb-Roskopp, not only speaks from her heart with her creative point of view but honors the things that she knows are the most meaningful to people today.

After all, don’t we all want jewelry that reminds of us of the fondest, most joyful and beautiful moments in our life?

And, of course, we need to still look great in the process! Crafting personalized pieces that truly speak to one’s heart and mind is why Misahara was created.

Lepa’s designs infuse elements of her personal style and nuance often sourced from her travels and international influences.

She uses her experiences from locales around the world to inspire her design process and craft jewelry that tells a story.

Her unique jewels can be found at Neiman Marcus, Moda Operandi, True Facet, or in her boutiques in New York City and Porto Montenegro.
