And They Called It Puppy Love
Lauren Conrad loves her adorable dogs who are Fitz and Chloe, those two were dogs that Lauren rescue by adopting them at a pet shelter, so Lauren passes along the love for her puppies with today’s Tuesday Ten on why to rescue a pet.
The life of a sheltered puppy are filled with mixed emotions, it’s shocking, sad, scary, and ends with euthanization, so that’s the first reason why adopting a pet is better than buying one at a pet store, you save a life simply by adopting a pet.
Rescue pets deliver nothing but unconditional love day in and day out because of the new lease on life you gave that pet, you also save money by adopting a pet in so many way as you avoid a pet store as well as a checklist of vaccinations, and adopting decreases the power of puppy mills.
Pets end up in shelters for many reasons, and it’s not entirely because they were bad pets, it mainly through no fault of their own either stray or owner’s own reasons, one can meet wonderful people who also have rescued pets leading to great benefits, and pets are good for one’s optimal health.
Nobody likes to euthanize pets just to make room, that’s why it’s important to adopt in large numbers because it’s a more optimistic alternative to make room at shelters for other pets coming in, you also have the option of adopting a puppy or an older dog depending on your capacity, and no rescue dog is alike, they’re very special in their own way.
