Ooohhh, It’s So Good

For all the excitement we put on Thanksgiving for all it’s food and decoration, it can easily get lost on the fact that most people across the country have the most uncomfortable meal in all the year with their folks, but Lauren Conrad and Team LC put the dishes back into perspective with maple roasted turkey pieces with roasted cranberries.

We each have our own recipes to how we do turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, candied yams, and so forth, all based off family recipes modified over the years or created ourselves, Lauren’s contributor, Claire Thomas, from The Kitchy Kitchen made the pair of turkey and cranberries something out of the ordinary.

The first secret to the maple roasted turkey is Claire opted only to serve the juiciest parts of the turkey which are parts like wings, drumsticks, thighs, and other parts of the turkey that bring tremendous flavor, mainly stemming from the dark meat.

Now don’t forget the most important sidekick to this recipe, the cranberries themselves, they’re also paired with fragrant onions as the cranberries you buy at the store better be part, you also need fresh herbs like thyme, rosemary, and sage to savor up this dish, plus the maple syrup to begin with for those juicy turkey parts, butter mixed in just like with any turkey, and a little salt and pepper to make for good taste.

Whether it’s Friendsgiving, or even Thanksgiving, this minimal effort roasted turkey and roasted cranberry dish will make us stop like Mr. Food and say “Oooh, It’s So Good”.
