Who’s Still Moving To California?
Knitss presented a time capsule with their fall/ winter 2019-2020 collection that represents a time when moving to the left coast of the nation was the one cool thing you absolutely had to do, not only to live the best life possible, but something you had to experience before you kick the bucket, this special collection can only take place on the first day today of UBM’s one and only Coterie trade show at the Javits Center here in New York City.
It starts with learning about what Knitss is, a rich contemporary lifestyle collection based out of Turkey consisting of dresses, skirts, pants, sweaters, and such that makes this collection colorful and delightful, the madness behind Knitss is that it’s not one particular piece that’s the most popular every season with the themes that Knitss does, it’s what the collection is focusing on each season that either makes a dress or a sweater a big seller for that moment in time.
And speaking of time warps, Knitss for fall/ winter 2019-20 centers all their love and inspiration on a dreamy California 1970’s vibe consisting of long dresses and skirts that specialize in tie-dye inspired prints coming in a bold and dark color contrast, and sexy silhouette pantsuits that take a cue also from the dark side, but take the typical plaid design into a new dimension that open it up out of the box shaping and turn it into what Daniel plus Lauren calls K-plaid, horizontally lined to contrast each other top to bottom.
This beautifully constructed Knitss collection doesn’t fail to please with its 70’s inspired California design, and it may inspire not only the older generation, but even the millennials to quit the lives they have now in whatever place they’re living, and make the big move to California, living the dream of sunny hot days and nights with celebrities riding up the street, and endless summer all year long.
