How Do You Vegan Beyond Food?

In middle school and high school, yours truly that is Daniel plus Lauren never even heard of the term vegan, the only far-reaching lifestyle that one could possibly know is vegetarian, where for all we knew, you did not eat any type of animal meat, and you could even go back as far as 1991 to an old Nike commercial where one insisted they not be asked what they wanted to be when they grow up, they ruled out becoming a vegetarian immediately, so fast forward to Tuesday, where Matt & Nat here at the Javits Center in New York City featured the life of a vegan for fall/ winter 2019-20, thanks to UBM with its efforts to bring you the trade show that is Coterie.

Matt & Nat’s beginnings go back to 1997, where this designer didn’t even think about being a brand, it started out making handbags and backpacks, it was one of the first vegan collections to be ever made at the time right out of Canada, and it was nowhere to be found that people were doing a collection that’s completely free of the use of animals, let alone creating a lifestyle brand to live their lives by.

As Matt & Nat’s popularity grew over the years, they decided to expand their life beyond the 2 accessories they’re known for, Matt & Nat decided to go from being a vegan collection to a vegan lifestyle collection, so Matt & Nat added on sunglasses, shoes, and the newest thing this fall/ winter 2019-20 being puffy coats, which has received a very good response from Matt & Nat’s customers.

Animals have proven to be a vital resource while becoming important to the environment we live in so we humans can survive, and its places like Whole Foods and Equinox that establish the lifestyle we wish to live outside of Instagram if we want to do good for ourselves and others, so Matt & Nat ads to the brand of life we wish to play a major role in as we move closer to the pursuit of money, and the pursuit of happiness.
