New Action Plan
Melissa Shea, owner of Fashion Mingle, held her weekly Mingle Mastermind Group webinar today on “Branding Your Business During The Coronavirus”, as many fashion business owners, large and small, are forced to change their marketing campaigns to reflect the new COVID19 environment, addressing also how comfort-wear is the only thing dominating the fashion industry right now since everything else in fashion, and other aggressive ways of marketing have been put on pause.
Since it’s not the climate to be aggressive with one’s brand, brands are getting creative with their advertising, using the nearest resources possible like their homes, their own green screens, and video or audio equipment, even outside their homes, neighborhoods, or neighbors to create ads or mini-commercials for their clothing.
COVID19 unraveling so many businesses means they’re forced to think outside the box, using social media platforms like they never had before, then there are those brands that are so strong to begin with where it’s not necessary for them to come up with a quick fixes to survive COVID19, and a few fashion houses have changed what they produce and gone to essentials like masks for those who need them.
There’s also negotiating with your landlords or whoever you need to contact so you’re able to keep your business up and running, producing what’s needed for your audience, and for you and your business to survive.
Fashion Mingle has held it down so far with helpful webinars, like discussing the stimulus bill, and turning a side gig into a main hustle, even during COVID19.
