You’re Gonna Be Okay

Melissa Shea, who heads Fashion Mingle, held another webinar today with fashion and business law attorney, Shirin Movahed, who answered questions about the $1,200.00 check you’re receiving from the stimulus thanks to COVID19, and seeking out benefits for those working independently.

Shirin answered advised viewers to know their status about the $1,200.00 they are getting, make sure it’s going to the right place, take a look at your filing status, and know for sure if your income makes you eligible for $1,200.00 or not.

Shirin also advised participants about the paycheck protection program, where this forgivable loan obligates your small business to keep your employees on the payroll for 8 weeks, and not lay them off.

And those who work for themselves as independents, entrepreneurs, and freelancers must see what options are available to them since they’re the first ones to lose out on income when unemployed, and keep the option open to file as a company under the government so one’s business can get benefits under times like COVID19.

Even if it looks bleak right now, one can still create a brand, as long as they keep in mind on how one’s brand should operate accordingly.
