Variety reported today that Broadway came together once again to support their own, Nick Cordero, who recently had his leg amputated because of complications from COVID19, had a touching tribute dedicated to him from his loving “Waitress” family that included Sara Bareilles, Keala Settle, Jessie Mueller, and many other beloved “Waitress” alumni.

Famous “Waitress” musical numbers were performed from home from cast member’s quarantined locations while raising money for Nick via GoFundMe, with a goal of $450,000, easily surpassed by the post of this music video tribute.

Since getting his leg amputated, Nick had to be put into induced coma, as well as undergo another surgery to have a temporary pacemaker inserted to keep Nick’s heart rate from dropping, every time Nick had to be moved after going through such trauma with his body.

Along with Nick having the support of his “Waitress” casts which he loves very much, girlfriend, Amanda Kloots, has been very loving and supporting all throughout Nick’s ordeal, keeping fans updated about how Nick’s doing.
