Dee Rivera, founder of Latinista magazine, held a virtual cover party tonight for the May 2020 issue, hosting a collective of editors in the fashion and beauty industry, all based out of New York City.
The virtual party kicked off with Lisa Mateo, television host and reporter who’s done stories about food, fitness, and fashion, Lisa expressed her fitness expertise tonight about proper ways to take care of your body, especially in quarantine, plus having a positive attitude about even the littlest assignment you receive as an intern, so your talent has a chance to come out, Lisa also does freelance work for CBS Newspath.
Cenia Paredes was next talking about her jeggings line and her collection as a whole that’s now available on HSN, where it’s all about making comfortable bottoms, because we’re spending a lot more time at home, as well as trying to stay fit.
Consuela Helms, who collaborates with Vera Moore Cosmetics, talks about keeping your skin hydrated and clean while you staying at home, because outside air is different from inside air.
Melissa Shea, the founder of Fashion Mingle, who’s hosted a collage of webinars in COVID19, talks about Fashion Mingle being a place to interact with other fashion people who need to connect with each other, as well as do whatever possible to push each other’s work, Fashion Mingle’s also spun off into Beauty Mingle with fitness classes for those at home.
Krystle Couso went on the makeup route too emphasizing moisture, even demonstrating a little cream to apply to arms and face since your stuck in quarantine.
Joan & Priya, with their talk show, “Follow Me Friday”, added lots more cheer to the virtual cover party by emphasizing its a time to have fun, talk, and drink wine, just like on their talk show.
In all the engaging, talking, and fruitful advice given in the Latinista Cover Party for May 2020, DJ Fly Girl was on standby to spin the records from her home location to take the edge off with any party, even on a virtual realm.
