As every industry imaginable is affected by COVID19, even essential sectors like healthcare facing imminent layoffs, Condé Nast made it official Wednesday it’s laying off 100 employees while furloughing 100 more employees without pay, adhering to their plan of reduced salaries, lay-offs, unpaid time, and reduced schedules.
There’s also pessimism trickling down into the retail world, clothing stores are bankrupt, leading to fire sale closures, virtual pivots, and pleas to one’s customer base to support them in this COVID19 pandemic.
