Time To Hurt

Condé Nast is a man of their world in this COVID19 pandemic, it’s laying off 100 employees from the company, and it’s putting 100 more employees on unpaid furlough for several months since the economy is reeling its ugly head, lockdowns are extending, and reopen is in doubt till there’s treatments and vaccines.

Condé Nast CEO, Roger Lynch, says these are cost-saving actions in this new and unprecedented climate caused by COVID19, measuring out who’s not needed right now to work at Condé Nast, and those furloughed who don’t need to work as often.

Condé Nast announced exactly one month ago today that layoffs, furloughs, and reduced schedules like this would be coming to the publishing firm, along with reduced salaries from those on the top.
