We’re doing a lot more cooking nowadays since we’re spending more time at home, and we keep stocking up on all types of food whether it’s fresh, frozen, or canned, but if we come done to a point where all we got are cans of foods left in our pantry before our next grocery store trip, then we’ve gotta be creative with how we make our meals, Lauren Conrad and team recruited Tieghan Gerard of Half Baked Harvest to supply us some recipes based on how you use those canned foods.

A favorite among Daniel plus Lauren’s household is tomato paste, it always comes in handy for a quick base with pasta, chili, and such, Tieghan discovered Unstuffed Spicy Tomato Basil Shells with Whipped Ricotta, you can also make other recipes like Quick Pantry Pasta with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Burrata or Super Simple Coconut Chicken Tikka Masala.

It’s not too often yours truly gets to have water chestnuts, because they’re tasty and delicious to add to one’s plate, good thing Half Baked Harvest finds water chestnuts in 30 Minute Creamy Sesame Miso Ramen with Crispy Mushrooms based on a famous Japanese entree, there’s also Spicy Taco Salad with Baja Dressing for nights like tonight being Taco Tuesday.

Tieghan recently did an “Instagram Live Calendar” on Laurenconradco Instagram, making one pot pasta with fresh ingredients in a very short amount of time, that’s a recipe worth cooking up one of these days or nights.
