Fashion Frameworks trade shows are using their platform to spotlight black-owned businesses this week to raise the voices of powerful individuals in our community and beyond.

Over on the Fameshow Instagram, meet Siatta Kennedy, founder of @siattajeans, influenced by African culture, Siatta offers the best and most unique afro-style jeans, they carry jeans and shorts that are styled with braided African print fabrics, cowry shells, hand painted masks, metallic masks, and patches of African-print fabric.

At Project Women’s, meet Vashti Bryant (@hello_vashti_) founder of @shopamalfii, a contemporary women’s wear brand based in LA. ⠀
“We need more representation at all levels in fashion” Vashti Bryant says.

And at wwdmagic, meer Carla Vick founder of @fybenica, a luxury pre-tied head wrap and apparel company.
