Sustaining & Surviving

Curve New York continued their weekly webinar today by starting a new series of webinars called “Interfiliere Talks” with Jos Berry of Concepts Paris, this week talked about Botanical Nostalgia, sustainability in fashion.

Sustainability is extremely important now because fast fashion has never been a good idea in any normal, let alone a COVID19 normal, less waste needs to be practiced when producing fashion, fashion that can be recycled for another life.

Fast fashion is only meant as an added revenue extension to true fashion, but consumers are limited with their spending power and travels since being locked down at home, so they’ve changed their dynamic to buy fashion not only comfortable, but pieces that will last beyond seasons, investing in staples, forcing the fashion industry to be season-less.

Botanical Nostalgia involves an abundance of flowers, ranging from red, orange, yellow, and even purple, incorporated in new sustainable collections from swimsuits, lingerie, intimates, comforts, and hosiery.
