Lauren Conrad and her Lauren Conrad Co. team are devastated by the dramatic explosion that rocked Beirut, Lebanon on Tuesday, so Lauren Conrad Co. Instagram story tonight is encouraging you to give whatever support possible to the Lebanese Red Cross.
The Lebanese Red Cross is the main provider of ambulance services in Lebanon; counting 3,000 emergency medical technicians and 300 plus ambulances respond to more than 140,000 emergencies and patient transports per year.
Although the Lebanese Red Cross provides these services for free, they do have a cost!
Unfortunately, due to limited funds, the LRC are either late to or cannot respond to 1 emergency call out of 5!
This is mostly the case during weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Beirut time when LRC volunteers are at work or in class, and have to recruit some of their experienced volunteers as staff in order to ensure rapid and effective ambulance response during the day.
But with small monthly donations, you can help the Lebanese Red Cross reach more people who need us faster.
