Creativity Is Here To Stay
Curve New York along with Interfiliere Talks and Jos Berry of Concepts Paris made their weekly webinar today about Artistic Discoveries, going back to basics to achieve sustainability and new innovations in beachwear, sportswear, and lingerie.
Since this COVID19, brands and designers have inevitably rethought their collections, by once again being creative with their pieces, using authentic fabrics for a better piece on their customer base, and put a strong emphasis on sustainability, looking to the environment and being more efficient.
The jury is out on paying a higher price for sustainable products with consumers, but the panel on this webinar found customer bases want to know where their intimates and beach wear comes from, how it’s made, and ways for the family that is lingerie, beachwear, sportswear, and even dance wear that really are one in the end more comfortable, and fitting to various body types, seeking both virtual and true fittings.
There’s also the conclusion that when asking the customer, it’s found that the customer does want to pay more for sustainable collections, researching as much as possible about eco-friendly collections, and not minding being served on a one-on-one basis.
The biggest take away Daniel plus Lauren got from today’s session was those that do wear swimwear, sportswear, beachwear, and innovative lingerie on a regular basis, this customer base is very well aware of how they want their bodies to be, because they’re training their bodies to look the way they want on a regular basis, not wanting to go a size larger, thriving to be on the small end so they can fit into pieces that look good on them, and being very health conscious more than the regular individual about what they eat.
