In spite of President Trump tweeting out early Friday morning that he and First Lady, Melania Trump, tested positive for COVID19, the Bureau of Labor Statistics still released the September jobs report on Friday, with the nation’s unemployment rate declining again, but not by much at 0.5 percent to 7.9 percent, the amount of jobs added dropped significantly from August, just 661,000 jobs added in September compared to 1.2 million.

September also dropped those out of work by 1 million to 12.6 million, and the Department Of Labor released their weekly unemployment numbers Thursday with yet another lowest amount of claims at 837,000, with states moving even further into their reopening phases, and furloughed workers being called back to work.
