Tony In A Pandemic
In just one week from now, The Tony Awards announced today that they’ll finally announce the nominations for the 2020 Tony Awards at 12 noon EDT on The Tony Awards YouTube Channel, which also have yet to announce when the virtual awards will happen thanks to COVID19 postponing the Tony’s and shutting down Broadway back in March.
The Tony Awards Nominating Committee will meet to vote on this year’s nominations on Tuesday, October 13.
The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

COVID19 forced Broadway to make an unprecedented decision to shutdown all its theaters back on March 12, with the shutdown extended to January 3, with extreme speculation Broadway won’t return until 2022.
