The United States Department Of Labor had good news today in its weekly unemployment numbers, only 787,000 claims were filed over the last week, though 55,000 less than week’s previous, with last week’s 898,000 revised down to 842,000, this is by far the lowest amount of jobless claims reported during the COVID19 pandemic.

The insured unemployment rate also saw its lowest numbers yet in this pandemic, standing at 5.7 percent after falling 0.7 percent from last week (revised to 6.4 from 6.8), the actual number of insured unemployment also came in at its lowest figure so far at 8,373,000, 1,024,000 lower than last week from 9,397,000 also revised from 10,018,000.
