Lauren Conrad talks #LaurenConradBeauty with @goodhousekeepingmag #raisethegreenbar @LaurenConrad #LaurenConrad @LC_Beauty @madesafehq

No Chemicals Allowed

Lauren Conrad participated in Good Housekeeping and Made Safe’s “Raise The Green Bar 2020” live virtual conference today to have a fireside chat about her new eco-friendly makeup line, Lauren Conrad Beauty, and steps you can take to live a greener life.

The launching phase of Lauren Conrad Beauty changed because of COVID19, marketing strategies had to be adjusted where items like Lipstick, Lipgloss, Blush, Mascara, and The Liquid Eyeliner by LCB (which is Lauren’s favorite) had to be put on the forefront because we’re all spending more time on Zoom instead of committing to the office like you use to.

To create Lauren Conrad Beauty, Lauren and her team made several trips to the drawing board, challenging themselves to create a clean beauty line combining beauty with eco-friendly methods of animal free, cruelty free, and chemical free, leaving only the makeup to be completely vegan and packaging to be 100 percent recyclable.

Clean beauty is the idea, method, and philosophy Lauren and her team came up with on Lauren Conrad Beauty, derived of vegan formulas, natural scents, ethically sourced ingredients, and eco-friendly packaging, going as far as to use sugarcane for packing material.

Lauren also uses her partnership with Kohl’s thanks to her LC Lauren Conrad collection to sell Lauren Conrad Beauty at Kohl’s, extending her good relationship with the department store chain to take Kohl’s into the eco-friendly era of selling responsibly conscience product.

The most important step you can take to live a more greener life is start small, steps such as waste less compost by using less packaging materials that involve ordering less takeout and cooking your meals at home, recycling when required that separates your trash, and use less water by using the dishwasher more often instead of hand washing your dishes.
