The United States Department Of Labor still reported extreme highs of unemployment claims today in COVID19, but to the tune of 709,000 was the newest extremely low figure the nation’s filed in this pandemic, and it’s 48,000 less than last week’s 757,000 revised up by 6,000.

This week’s insured unemployment rate also met a new low in COVID19 at 4.6 percent, 0.3 percent lower than last week’s 4.9 percent revised down by 0.1 from 5 percent, and the number of those on insured unemployment dropped to their lowest also in this pandemic to 6,786,000, 436,000 lower than last week’s 7,222,000 originally at 7,285,000.
